Biometric Clock
How a Biometric System Works
- An employee arrives at work, he enters his 3 or 4 digit employee code into the number panel. Then places his hand into the platter, gently closes his fingers against the contact points. The Status light on the top of the Hand Punch turns green and the led display indicates a successful score.
- After an employee has used the Hand Punch for Several Days you will find it takes them approximately 5 seconds to clock them self in and out of work.
- At the end of the pay cycle you will have your payroll clerk or designated person Poll or collect the data from the Biometric Clock via software. You are then able to produce reboots, save to file formats such as excel, and a variety of others. There are options for automated export to over 40 payroll formats. That will work with your existing information and payment systems.

Biometric TechnologyIn information technology, biometric authentication refers to technologies that measure and analyze human physical and behavioural characteristics for authentication purposes. Examples of physical characteristics include fingerprints, eye retinas and irises, facial patterns and hand measurements, while examples of mostly behavioural characteristics include signature, gait and typing patterns. Voice is considered a mix of both physical and behavioural characteristics. However, it can be argued that all biometric traits share physical and behavioural aspects. Excerpt of "Biometrics."
